A Visual Journey Along the Hippie Trail
Sketches from the Trails
The Hippie Trail was more than just a travel route - it was a way of life.
A path full of adventure, freedom, and music. The sound of the guitar accompanying evenings around the campfire, the encounters with people from all over the world, the immersion into foreign cultures and ways of thinking, and the quest for a carefree, simple, authentic, and fulfilling life - all of this is what makes the Hippie Trail unforgettable.

The desire to travel has never left me since those days, and so a sense of adventure and curiosity continues to shape my life to this day. On the countless journeys since, innumerable photographs have been captured, bearing witness to the diversity of the world and to an insatiable urge to constantly discover new horizons.
In this sense, photography isn’t merely about freezing moments in time. It is an art form that tells stories and reveals the world from new perspectives - a tribute to wanderlust, global openness, and the joy of travel.

Take a look around and bring a piece of that feeling to your wall. Let yourself be inspired by the spirit this lifestyle embodies - perhaps you’ll find the perfect art print to enchant your home with a pinch of Hippie vibes.

My photographs are frequently featured in various publications, including the multiple award-winning cinema documentary "Silver Hair Still Rocks" by Matthias Lukoschek and Andrea Rüthlein. The film portrays the lives of the international Hippie-Freak dropout scene on the idyllic beaches of Goa, India, tracing their journey from the beginnings in the early 1970s up to the present day.
The blog „Vintage Goa Memories“, curated by Indian artist Nasya Pereira, also regularly showcases my images, with posts consistently reaching several thousand likes.
